Bokeh

Wikipedia says: In photography, bokeh (Originally /ˈbkɛ//ˈbk/ boh-kay — also sometimes pronounced as /ˈbkə/ boh-kəJapanese: [boke]) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens.  Bokeh has been defined as “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light”.

Basically its a way to make lights pretty on photos 🙂

To get the heart shapes just took a circle of card with a heart cut.  Thanks to globetrotterdiaries.com for showing me how.

These examples were taken either in my house or on another work resi, this time in Edinburgh and its Winter Wonderland.

One of these definitely makes it into my 101 and bokeh may make another appearance at some point.
